Hardware Design Engineer
About The Position
This is a great opportunity to join our R&D team as a HW Design Engineer focusing on the core electronics of our complex autonomous drone systems. In this position you will be responsible for the conception, design, component selection, implementation, and integration of a variety of modules for Percepto Systems.
This position demands a true system-level perspective. You will be required to fully understand our multidisciplinary system, balance HW, SW, Mechanical and Productial requirements, an ability to self learn new areas and a great teamwork practice. It is required to bring the project from conception, through various design phases, to manufacture, hands-on bringup, verification and eventually to production and certification.
Responsibilities
- System level design, translate product requirements to hw specifications
- Board design (schematic and PCB layout) - power, analog and digital
- Ownership of complex, multi-layer PCB development
- BOM optimization, component selection, future proofing and cost / size / weight optimization
- Supporting NPI processes and transition to manufacturing.
- Hands-on debugging, testing, lab verification of prototypes and Failure analysis in production units
- Cross-team collaboration: Hardware, Mechanics, Software, System, Validation, and Production.
