We are seeking a skilled and proactive Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Production Manager will play a key role in managing internal production processes as well as coordinating with subcontractors. The ideal candidate will be adept at planning and executing production schedules, ensuring timely production and delivery to customers. Additionally, the Production Manager will be responsible for supplier evaluation and approval, as well as problem-solving in collaboration with engineering and development teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, both in-house and with subcontractors, to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate production schedules and resources to meet production and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor production processes and implement improvements to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Coordinate with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure availability of materials and components for production.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers to support production requirements.
  • Address production issues and challenges in collaboration with engineering and development teams.
  • Implement corrective actions and process improvements to resolve issues and enhance production efficiency.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between production, engineering, and other relevant departments to drive continuous improvement.
  • Managing ATP and bring-up tests for systems, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to optimize manufacturing processes and improve test results

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing management, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in production management or manufacturing leadership roles, including team management
  • Proven track record of success in managing production teams and achieving production targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in troubleshooting production issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
  • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software, as well as Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of electronics and PCB manufacturing processes- advantage
  • Qualifying contractors and suppliers worldwide- advantage
  • Managing production at a scale of $10 million annually
  • Experienced in working with offshore production and sub contractors - advantage
