Role Summary:
The Program Manager will be at the forefront of driving operational excellence and delivering value to the program through efficient and effective program management practices. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end integration and coordination of all work performed by different departments and play a pivotal role in consolidating and reporting customer-specific KPIs, ensuring seamless operations, human capital management, and cost control for efficient program delivery. The Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of drone system operations for the customer are seamlessly performed including timely maintenance, repairs, and prioritized work assignments to a team of Field Operators. This role requires exceptional coordination skills to liaise with internal departments such as Delivery, Product, Supply, and Logistics.
This position is based on-site at our operations hub in Midland, TX.
Responsibilities
Program Plan Development:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive program plan encompassing all projects and work deliverables related to the customer.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
End-to-End Integration and Coordination:
- Coordinate and integrate all Program-related work performed by different departments or groups such as Delivery, Product, Supply, and Logistics to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Ensure alignment of activities to achieve program objectives efficiently.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure efficient daily operations, including scheduling and dispatching a team of Field Operators to ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with schedules and client expectations.
- Conduct check-in points with the Delivery team on deployment status and ensure proper handover upon completion of system deployment.
- Conduct check-in points with the Remote Operations team on mission completion status for all active systems
- Confirm weekly mission schedule with the customer and internal Remote Operations team
- Conduct check-in points with the Data Insights team to ensure Reports are delivered on time and per established SLAs
- Continuous prioritization of work and assignments based on criticality and urgency derived from the Remote Operations missions schedule
- Facilitate timely decision-making in collaboration with Ong Ops/Support/RO for conflicting priorities to ensure minimal disruption and downtime
Consolidation and Reporting of Program-Specific KPIs:
- Consolidate and report program-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring seamless aggregation of performance metrics across the program and delivering cohesive reports for comprehensive end-to-end visibility.
Program Risk Analysis and Mitigation:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address issues to minimize the impact on program delivery.
- Lead problem-solving efforts to address challenges and obstacles encountered during program execution.
Cost Control and Budgeting:
- Monitor program budget and expenditures.
- Perform Actual vs Budget variance analysis and forecast to completion analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all drone operations comply with industry safety standards and regulations.
- Manage and enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all field operations in accordance with OSHA, FAA, and customer-specific safety regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation of all work performed and timely provide status updates as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional), PgM (Program Management Professional)
- Minimum 4 - 7 years of proven experience as a Program Manager in a customer-facing role, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale initiatives with budgets exceeding $10 million, preferably within the Technology, Oil & Gas, Utilities, or Manufacturing industries.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills including the ability to guide team members and influence stakeholders to drive progress and successfully complete work across the program.
- Flexibility in personal communication approach to successfully engage, collaborate, and build effective work relationships.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills and proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, MS Suite, etc.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to clarify complex concepts and situations, simplifying them into understandable components for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to respond to urgent matters coming from personnel who work on shift and on-call weekends.
