Senior Strategic Account Manager
About The Position
Percepto is a leader in autonomous inspection and monitoring technology, specializing in cutting-edge aerial drones and AI-driven software for industries such as energy, utilities, and industrial sectors. Our products are designed to optimize workflows, improve safety, and enhance operational efficiency.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Account Manager to cultivate and expand relationships with a single O&G customer in the Houston and Midland markets. The primary objective is to work with this existing large and complex customer delivering value-driven discussions and deepening customer engagement. You will be expected to work with existing relationships and expand into new ones. This role will report to and work closely with the VP of Strategic Accounts.
Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Conduct regular visits to clients in Houston and Midland to understand their needs, communicate tailored solutions, and build relationships with primary stakeholders.
- Revenue Expansion: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase revenue within existing accounts.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement account strategies that align with both client objectives and company goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful solution delivery.
- Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, particularly in the oil and gas sector, to effectively address client challenges.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in customer or account management, with a proven track record of revenue growth and footprint expansion within client accounts.
- Industry Knowledge: Minimum of 10 years of oil and gas experience working with or within oil and gas operators, understanding customers’ unique challenges and requirements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of articulating complex solutions clearly.
- Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Travel Availability: Willingness to travel regularly between Houston and Midland to meet with clients. Potentially expanding to other areas with continued client expansion.
- Customer Service Mindset: Must be focused on the customer and work both internally and externally to drive value.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with autonomous inspection technologies and their applications in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience with CRM software (HubSpot) and account management tools.
- Excellent documentation and organization required.
