We are seeking a stellar Technical Trainer to join our global training team!

The Technical Trainer at Percepto will be an essential member of the global training team. They will be responsible for onboarding new internal and external users of the company's products by delivering comprehensive training on the Percepto system's in-depth features, including software and hardware components. The two primary objectives of the Technical Trainer will be to lead the Percepto Pilot Training Program and equip every user with the knowledge and confidence required to use the product effectively. Additionally, they will provide ongoing support to ensure users stay updated on the latest developments and features.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Trainer for Percepto, your primary focus will be to enable both internal and external users to use the company's products with ease and confidence. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Facilitating a positive user experience by providing knowledge, skills, and abilities to use the company's product line effectively
  • Leading the training program and certification process for new users of Percepto products
  • Leading the Percepto Pilot Training Program and aviation certification process for the company's operational partners in North America and Latin America
  • Onboarding and implementing the Percepto workspace within customers' organizations
  • Training customers on the in-depth features of the Percepto system, including both software and hardware components
  • Establishing organizational standards by creating and updating new and existing training procedures
  • Continuously improving training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of internal users and operational partners
  • Ensuring that all Percepto pilots (including operational partners and clients) maintain their flying and knowledge skills up to date
  • Contributing to the development and improvement processes of Operations training
  • Creating and implementing an effective training database, including video tutorials, interactive presentations, courses, and tests
  • Conducting both in-person and online training sessions
  • Managing and using an LMS system
  • Participating in recruitment by leading technical tests during the pilot hiring process

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a training instructor of a technical product
  • Experience in delivering both online and in-person training sessions
  • Experience using LMS systems
  • Experience with Ardupilot software and hardware (Pixhawk) is an advantage
  • A high level of hardware-related technical skills, including assembly, repair, etc.
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of learning and training programs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment
  • Openness to travel within the continental US as required to conduct user training sessions(10%-20%)
  • Ability to work on non-routine hours and willingness to work overtime
  • Ability to self-learn in a highly dynamic and ambitious work environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and presentation formats
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience operating non-DJI drones and a high level of proficiency in flying multi-rotor UAVs or similar aviation products
  • Proven ability to fly drones without GPS positioning
  • A valid FAA Part 107 drone operator license
  • A valid driver's license
