Compliance Overview

Existing Sources

Subpart OOOOa Subpart OOOOa governs sources constructed or modified between September 18, 2015, and December 6, 2022. As an ATM for OOOOa, Percepto drones can be used for OGI surveying for federal compliance with OOOOa.

Subpart OOOOc are Emission Guidelines (EG) that will replace OOOOa, and will be developed and implemented by individual states When OOOOc comes into effect, it will govern existing sources, constructed prior to December 6, 2022.

New Sources

EPA Subpart OOOOb provides New Source Performance Standards from new, modified, and reconstructed sources as of December 6,2022. As an ATM for OOOOb, Percepto drones can be used for OGI surveying for federal compliance with OOOOb.

Effective Date: OOOOb officially came into effect on May 7, 2024. Percepto's solution is designed to align with these updated requirements, ensuring our clients remain compliant.

State-defined Standards

Percepto's autonomous OGI solution is not only federally compliant but also meets specific state-level regulations, including those from the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE).

  • NMED: Our system meets the leak detection and repair (LDAR) requirements and reporting protocols mandated by NMED's methane regulations, providing the granularity and frequency of data collection needed for compliance.
  • CDPHE: We meet Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's standards for OGI surveying, and can be leveraged in Colorado for regulatory inspections in the state.
